MISSION
To lead and evolve FlightStory’s guest booking operation across all shows - ensuring we consistently secure culturally relevant, high-impact talent that drives audience engagement and brand growth.
This role brings operational leadership, editorial oversight, and team development to the centre of our booking function, enabling strategic focus across the wider content organisation.
KEY OUTCOMES
Provide hands-on leadership for the guest booking team, raising ambition, consistency, and delivery across all shows.
Design and implement a world-class booking strategy that aligns with editorial priorities, brand tone, and audience growth goals.
Deliver standout guest bookings that elevate existing formats and raise the standard for new show launches.
CORE COMPETENCIES
Team Leadership: Proven experience managing, mentoring, and scaling booking or talent teams in fast-paced media environments.
Editorial Sharpness: Strong sense of narrative, cultural relevance, and the role of guest voices in shaping content performance.
Process & Performance: Skilled in implementing structured workflows, clear reporting, and scalable systems to enhance team efficiency.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
You’re an experienced talent booker or producer with a sharp editorial eye and deep understanding of what makes a guest compelling in the digital content space.
You’ve successfully led teams, worked closely with creators or hosts, and know how to balance the creative with the operational.
You’re collaborative, strategic, and known for your calm under pressure - able to maintain standards while moving fast.
You bring energy, rigour, and credibility to the table, and you know how to get the best out of your team.
You’re used to booking high-profile talent in competitive, fast-moving environments — and know how to make the ask land.

INTERVIEW PROCESS
Screening Process - Our screening process is designed to assess candidates in a fair way. This gives you an opportunity to share your skill, experience and passion.
Phone Call with the Talent Team - You will share a call with our talent team who will answer any questions you have about the role, our business and any next steps.
1st Interview - This first stage will involve meeting your potential manager and team members.
2nd Stage Interview - Task - Through the task round you get an insight into the day to day responsibilities of the role and we get the opportunity to understand how you work.
Final Stage Interview - The final interview involves meeting a Senior Stakeholder in the business.
