We are looking for a highly motivated individual to help support the Finance Director and Finance Business partner in managing the Company's accounting operations.

This unique role is primarily looking for someone who can proactively oversee, and drive forward, the AP/AR function within our business. For the right candidate there could also be opportunity to support on the management accounts and reporting.

Responsibilities:

• Preparation of weekly Accounts Payable and Receivable reports

• Managing the AP Approvals process

• Handling payment processing, including credit card transactions, direct debits, and vendor communications

• Liaising with our commercial teams and raising all required sales invoices

• Overseeing the collection of cash from our customers

• Support on the Vendor & Employee payments process

• Liaising with our third party accounting firm for all AP/AR queries

• Development and management of AP/AR policies

• Supporting the Finance Business partner with the ‘Deferred Revenue Recognition’ process

Requirements: 

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Proven experience in an Accounts Receivable or Accounts Payable roles

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team

• Experience in implementing AP/AR automation processes'

• Familiarity with Xero is preferred

• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel
